About us
Enoteca Al Donizetti is one of the oldest Wine Bar in Bergamo.
Our selection of wine is based on our long experience as a Sommelier and Wine Merchant.
It is to satisfy clients, both Italian and foreigners, and to let them enjoy a glass of wine.
QUI L'ITALIA
The head office of Qui L'Italia is Enoteca Al Donizetti.
This is an enoteca (wine bar) which is one of the oldest, situated at upper town "Città Alta", in Bergamo, Lombardy, Italy.
The representative of Qui L'Italia, Mayumi Hirota, who is now has office in Japan, worked at Donizetti for 9 years to study and have experience on Italian wines. She was also engaged a lot for many new projects in this company, such as wine agent, wholesale business, purchase of wine, logistics, and import & export.

Authentic Enoteca
Our Enoteca, wine bar, is located at 17/A Gombito Street in Città Alta (Upper Town). The bar was born as Pasticceria (Little Pastry) Donizetti in 1984, named after a world wide famous composer from Bergamo "Gaetano Donizetti (1797-1848)". The owner is Mr. Massimo Locatelli, and his staffs are qualified sommerliers and professionals of Italian gastronomy. We have a large cellar of more than 1000 different labels of wines and 300 choices of wines served by the glass. By this particular "Degustazione at Donizetti (Donizetti's Tasting)", we are honoured to be selected as "The Best Wine Bars of Tre Bottiglie" from Gambero Rosso Guidebook "Ristoranti d'Italia".
Wholesale - Wine Distribution
Our office and warehouse, which is located 6 Corti Street in Città Bassa (Lower Town) of Bergamo, can stock more than 50.000 bottles of wine. As a wholesale distribution company, we supply quality wines and foodstuffs to restaurants, hotels, bars, and wineshops in Bergamo. As a retail section, we have small wineshop and we work for private customers for seasonal gifts.
Import & Export
From year 2004, we started to export Italian wines to Japan and other European countries such as Czech, Slovakia, Switzerland, and France. And recently we are expanding to export in new market of Far East and South America, such as China, Hong Kong, Singapore,Thailand, and Brasil.
We also import wines from France (Champagne, Burgandy, Sauternes) to Italy, always selected by us.
